Based on a true story. In 1967, while filming Oedipus the King at the Dodoni amphitheater in Greece, an aging Orson Welles encounters the English poet and translator Paul Roche. Welles, relegated to a supporting role of the Oracle behind up-and-comer Christopher Plummer, drunkenly lashes out at the director, crew, and writer.
